Clint C. Thomas, Esq., is a native of Birmingham, Alabama, and is a born-again Christian. Clint is married and has three children - two biological children and one child that is adopted from Guatemala. His interests outside the law include hunting, SCUBA diving, woodworking and freelance writing. He is an active supporter of Food for the Poor, and Gardens for Health International, both of which are international relief organizations.
LEGAL EXPERIENCE:
Clint has been actively engaged in the private practice of law in Shelby County, and it's surrounding neighbors, since opening his law practice in October, 1994. During this time, he has represented clients in almost every area of the law, and handles cases in Municipal (City) Courts, District Courts and Circuit Courts, as well as, certain appeals to the Alabama Supreme Court. His office is conveniently located in Calera just seconds off of the # 228 Exit of I-65.

Bachelor of Science (Criminal Justice) from Auburn University
Doctor of Jurisprudence from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University
LL.M. (Taxation) from the University of Alabama School of Law
TEACHING EXPERIENCE:
Clint has also served as a Professor of Law at Birmingham School of Law from August, 2003, until May, 2014 where he taught Contracts, Law Office Practice and had previously taught Commercial Law. He was named the 2008-2009 Outstanding Professor by Birmingham School of Law.
BOY SCOUT INVOLVEMENT:
Clint is an Eagle Scout, having attained such rank at the age of 14, and is a Brotherhood member of the Boy Scout's National Honor Society known as "Order of the Arrow."
SCUBA DIVING EXPERIENCE:
Clint is a certified SCUBA Instructor through the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI). He regularly dives with his three children, one of whom is also a PADI certified Instructor, one a PADI Divemaster and the other a PADI certified Jr. Master SCUBA Diver. He has been diving in the Florida Keys, the Gulf of Mexico and in Hawaii.
MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING:
Clint has a 1st Degree Black Belt in Yoshukai Karate and has been a member of the World Yoshukai Karate Kubudo Organization. He also holds a red belt in Taekwondo.
OENOLOGICAL STUDIES
Clint holds a Level 1 and Level 2 Award in Wine from the Wine & Spirit Educational Trust (WSET) that is headquartered in London, England.
